It’s been 20 years since Dr. Nash began thinking about the damage that various forms of synthetic birth control can wreak on a woman’s body. Sadly, many millions of women are just beginning to get the message and we are here to educate women about what works best for their body. We want to help you establish the best type of birth control for YOU as an individual, so that you can live the life you want without suffering the various physical and psychological effects that oral contraceptives, hormonal implants and IUDs often involve. We want to make clear: we are sex-positive, pro-woman and recognize that this is the only option for some women that do not want to become pregnant. No judgement! We do believe, however, the number of women for which this is the case would be far smaller if properly informed of all the choices we have now to prevent pregnancy. This is one area where technology is definitely our friend!
We have written a feminology field guide to help women quickly understand the effects on various aspects of health called “Pill Damage: 12 Things Your Doctor Didn’t Tell You About Hormonal Contraceptives.” Click the title or click here. Once you receive the guide via email you will also receive a “Birth Control Options” guide as a follow up a few days later.
