There’s so much we want to say about a healthy menstrual cycle so this part of our website will certainly continue to grow! Many women don’t realize that periods don’t have to be something they dread. It’s common, but not really normal and certainly not optimal, to have periods that are so painful, so heavy or so bad for your moods that they are having a detrimental effect on your whole life. Once your hormones are balanced, you might be surprised to find that your period is something you actually look forward to each month. It really acts as a “mini-cleanse” each month that rids the body of acidic wastes and gives you a good reason to retreat (just a little bit) from the more hectic activities of your daily life. Part of the core mission with feminology is to educate and empower women to get in touch with their monthly rhythms and embrace the fluctuations that naturally occur in the cycle.
